Poem: Naked in silence
11 p.m., no response | Naked, in silence

Naked in silence

- - - - - -

Oh, the linen, stained with infamy,

Naked in silence

11 p.m., the death knell tolls.

Naked, the unfaithful offering is revealed

Naked in silence

Adorned with the evil chain

An immodest desecration,

Naked in silence

Oh weaked wrinkled sheets, ageless witnesses

Twenty-three hours, alone and without laundry

Naked in silence,

Lying in pleasure without patience

The silence of the night amplifies my pain,

Naked, the offering of the held back cry, a bitter moan.

Twenty-three hours without you,

Naked in silence, without laundry, without you

Lying of flouted love, oh insidious dagger.

Naked in silence, my bed breaks my nightmare,

Naked, without linen, in this empty and freezing bed.

Naked in silence I'm bored in silence

My broken, bruised heart feels the detour,

Twenty-three hours without laundry, betrayed by your love.

Betrayed by your lie, Betrayed by your absence

Naked, without linen, in this empty and freezing bed.

Naked in silence

Oh, dirty laundry, dry quickly.

Wise man, a pain that overwhelms me,

And drown myself in an ocean of bitter tears.

Naked in silence, Naked in silence

Oh beautiful linen, witness to my betrayals,

Stay there, cold damp, symbol of this abandonment.

Is anyone listening to me? I am naked in silence

The author offers this flower to all betrayed women
To all the betrayed women

Author's note:

To all the women who have been betrayed, know that you are not alone. The pain of betrayal is immense, but you are strong and you will survive. Never give up hope.
